Our Program
Our Program offers an individualized curriculum that is aligned with the Tennessee Early Learning Standards. We use Developmentally Appropriate Practice to ensure that each child's learning and development is supported in a way that is appropriate for their age and stage of development. We also offer monthly themes with weekly focus ideas to provide a broad range of activities to engage and challenge each child.
Each classroom has a daily schedule and routine that allows for consistency and individualized instruction, with a focus on social and emotional learning, early literacy, large and gross motor skills and more.
Partners in Faith
We work closely with Fountain City Presbyterian Church to provide parent engagement events for all families, and weekly Chapel service for children 3 and up.
FCPC believes that they have the privilege and obligation to help children come to know the loving God who created and claimed them as God’s own child.
Health and Safety
While illness and accidents can happen anywhere, the Davis Center is committed to keeping your child healthy and safe.
All of our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, and trained in our emergency preparedness plan annually. Our lesson plans include health and safety topics each week to help your child learn healthy habits from a young age.
