Infant Program

Our Infant Program includes two classrooms designated by age grouping. Both classrooms have a 1 teacher to 4 children ratio, and additional staffing to assist with transitions, feeding, and activities. Our infant classrooms are designed with your child in mind, with individual schedules for each baby and lesson plans created using the Tennessee Early Learning Standards. Our babies work on fine and gross motor skills, language development, social-emotional learning and so much more!

Early Literacy and Language Skills

Infants learn the foundation of language through communicating with their caregivers! Our teachers are constantly talking, singing, reading and babbling with their babies to model conversation styles and promote language development.

Fine and Gross Motor Skills

From pointing and reaching, to crawling and walking, babies are developing crucial muscle control that will be the foundation of every move they make, big and small! Infants in our classrooms are given lots of opportunities and encouragement to develop these skills.

Math and Science
Concepts

Who knew math and science were taught in infant classrooms? Our teachers! Babies are learning all about the world around them. They use all five senses to explore different colors, shapes, textures, temperatures, and more. We use activities like sensory bins and manipulative toys to encourage exploration!

Social and Emotional Regulation

Did you know that babies develop their attachment style in the first year of their life? By using responsive caregiving, our teachers help infants learn that they are safe and taken care of by responding to their needs quickly and calmly. We also use techniques like labeling emotions and modeling deep breaths to help infants learn what they are feeling and how to express it!
