Our Food Philosophy
At the Davis Center, meal time is as much about learning as it is nourishing our bodies! Sitting around the table together while we eat is the perfect time to talk about our day, things on our plate, plans for the weekend, and so much more. This is a great opportunity to learn new words, try new foods, and encourage healthy habits that will last a lifetime!
We follow all of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines and provide nutritious and tasty meals prepared fresh daily. Our menu is changed monthly, so there's always something new to try. Additionally, all of our staff members are CPR and First Aid certified. Meal times are a high-supervision activity, which means there will be a staff member sitting and actively supervising each meal and all times.
